Meduza Kansas City Concert reviews
Friday Night Garth!
Our concession stand experience was fast and accurate. A sellout of 60,000 people! People were sitting on the floor along the wall, to eat and avoid being in the heat outside. It was 750 pm before it was announced that the wind and large crowd was the reason for the delayed start. We felt bad for those trying to get onto full trains after Murray Central, but glad we planned ahead. The concession stands had non-roped off lines, also adding to the foot traffic congestion.
We eventually arrived at our seat section, after walking the 3/4 loop around the stadium. The tunnels inside the stadium were difficult to negotiate. Our metal bench bleacher seat would have been more comfortable if we鈥檇 brought a blanket to sit on, but we didn鈥檛 know if we鈥檇 have a fold down seat or not. Wonderful show! We knew the foot traffic to Trax station would be crowded, so we took our time.
For the most part, crowd control was handled smoothly. We were seated 15 minutes prior to scheduled showtime. It was almost 830 before the opening act took the stage. The tunnels were again packed with people. There were lines of people around T-shirt vendor stands adding to the problem of trying to get to restrooms and water stations. 45 minutes after the concert ended, we walked westbound on 500 south side of stadium parking lot. Thank you.
